Abstract: Remote monitoring, control, as well as determination of energy consumption for appropriate billing of off-grid users of solar energy platforms have been key issues of research. Thus, this work proposes an intelligentsystem for online monitoring, control and display of the usage of solar energy distributed to various off-grid users of electricity.Current work focuses on utilizing small-scale technologies to provide electricity close to the end users; it makes use of IoT for the real time data analysis, enablesappropriate monitoring of the intelligent solar system through an Arduino microcontroller and also to ensure an appropriate billing to be given to the customers (end-users).
