EDITORIAL POLICY

Engineering and Technology Research Journal is a peer-review journal. All articles submitted for consideration will be reviewed by three expert reviewers in the field of study of the submitted article(s). The article will further be subjected to plagiarism test which must be less than 10%.

The comments of the reviewers will determine the status of the article which could be “Rejected”, “Accepted” or “Returned for corrections”.

Accepted articles will undergo editing, typesetting and validation of the references.

Copyright:

All authors must sign the Transfer of Copyright agreement before the article can be published. This transfer agreement enables Engineering and Technology Research Journal to protect the copyrighted material for the authors, but does not relinquish the authors' proprietary rights. The copyright transfer covers the exclusive rights to reproduce and distribute the article, including reprints, photographic reproductions, microfilm or any other reproductions of similar nature and translations.

Open Access Statement:

The Engineering and Technology Research Journal is a non-profit publication by the Faculty of Engineering, Lagos State University, Lagos, Nigeria. The purpose is to contribute to making available scientific knowledge via peer-reviewed research outputs.

All research outputs published with Engineering and Technology Research Journal will be available for online viewing and available freely for use for research purpose without the restrictions.

Proofs:

One set of page proofs will be sent by e-mail to the corresponding author, to be checked for typesetting/editing. The corrections should be returned within 72 hours. No changes in, or additions to, the accepted (and subsequently edited) manuscript will be allowed at this stage. Proofreading is solely the author's responsibility. Any queries should be answered in full. Please correct factual errors only, or errors introduced by typesetting.
